How am I billed?
Ormuco cloud users are charged by the hour. In order to purchase Ormuco cloud services, you will need to enter a valid credit card. You will then be invoiced on a monthly basis.
What does “pay-as-you-go” mean?
“Pay-as-you-go” means that you have no commitment or contract. You only pay for what you use and can delete your resources at any time.
Why are my monthly costs different from month to month?
Ormuco cloud users are charged by the hour, and some months have more hours than others. For example, January has 744 hours and April has 720 hours.
Am I charged when I enter my credit card information?
No, you are only charged once you start using the services offered on the portal.
What is your billing cycle?
We will begin charging your credit card one month after account activation. We will then continue to charge you on the first day of each month.
Will I be charged while my instance is in a powered-off state?
Yes, you will be charged because disk space, CPU, RAM, and IP addresses are all reserved for your instance. If you want to keep an instance for future use and not be charged, we recommend you take a snapshot of that instance and then delete it. You will be able to create a new instance by booting from the snapshot image you created.
What happens when I delete an instance?
As soon as you delete your instance, all your data is deleted and we stop charging you.
Will I be charged if I create a new instance and only use it for a few minutes?
Yes, if you create a new instance for only a few minutes, the price will be adjusted to reflect your minute usage.
Do you accept virtual, debit, or prepaid credit cards?
In order to avoid fraudulent sign-ups, we do not accept any form of prepaid payment method.
Can I transfer credits from one account to another?
No, your credits cannot be transferred between accounts.
Is it possible to get a refund if I am not satisfied with the services offered by Ormuco?
No, unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. However, if you are unsatisfied with our services, you can contact our Customer Support team and they will try to rectify the situation.
How do I access the Ormuco Cloud?
You can use most web browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Safari) to access our portal and cloud services at https://cloud.ormuco.com
How do I register for the Ormuco Cloud?
Once you are at https://cloud.ormuco.com, you will need to enter your username and password to enter the portal. To create a new account, follow the “Create one now” link and enter a valid email address and password (minimum of eight characters).
Do I need to sign up for billing before I can enter the portal?
No, we give you the freedom to explore and test our portal before entering your billing information. Once you are ready to deploy instances, you will need to enter your billing information.
Can I access the portal and my data via smartphone or tablet?
Yes, you can access your Ormuco cloud portal via smartphone or tablet. All you need to do is log onto our dashboard to gain access to your resources.
What should I do if I forget my account password?
Simply follow the “Forgot your password? Reset it.” link on the main log-in page. You will be asked to enter your email address and then sent a confirmation email to restore your password.

What is an instance?
An instance is a virtual server from either a public or private cloud network. Single hardware is implemented into software for your use.
What can I do with a cloud server instance?
You can run any application or service that you would typically run on a traditional, physical, dedicated server.
What if something goes wrong with my cloud server?
If something goes wrong with your server you can reboot it, restore it from backup or snapshot, or delete it and start over. We recommended you keep regular backups or snapshots of your system for easier recovery.
Do you provide console access?
Yes, you can access the VNC console though your instance’s control panel.
